Phone Product Photography Tips That Sell
No expensive camera: window light, backgrounds, and phone settings that make goods look twice the price.

Light is everything
- Shoot near a window in morning/late afternoon (8–10am or 3–5pm) — free and best.
- Never fight direct sun: half-burnt results.
- Turn off indoor flash — harsh and pale.
Settings and composition
- Tap to focus on the product, drag exposure slightly down.
- Plain background (paper/cloth) so the product pops.
- Rule of thirds: enable the camera grid.
- Shoot 3 angles: front, 45 degrees, texture detail.
After the shot
- Brightness +5–10, slight sharpness — no heavy filters.
- Same tone across the catalog for one brand feel.
- Compress before upload (under 200KB) to keep the site fast.
Buyers cannot touch your product — photos are their hands.
